He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was an Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill for eight years but left his faculty position to specialize in female sterilization reversal, vasectomy reversal, and minimally invasive vasectomy.
Dr Monteith founded A Personal Choice, which is a specialty center located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
