“We wanted to update you and let you know that on July 17, 2021 at 9:07am our son Mateo was born. He was 33wks 4 days gestation so he came early. He weighed 4lbs 3oz and was 17 3/4. He is currently in the NICU at UVA Children’s Hospital in Charlottesville VA. He has some health issues ( one of which we knew before he was born ) and needed a TEF surgery which he has done Tuesday July 20th and held up like a champ for that one. In about 3-4 weeks he will need another surgery to correct an issue with his bowels but otherwise he’s doing incredibly well. We can not thank you guys enough for helping us to grow our family. The doctor and the His Choice staff are a big part of why we’ve been blessed with this amazing little fighter and we are so grateful!”
